MCN joined partners and community leaders at a rally outside Governor Kathy Hochul’s office to urge the passage of the New York for All Act. The legislation would protect immigrant communities by limiting state and local collaboration with federal immigration enforcement, ensuring New York remains a place of safety, dignity, and due process for all.

Somos Puerto Rico Day of Action
MCN joined Somos Puerto Rico for a Community Day of Service at a mosque in San Juan, Puerto Rico, alongside Mayor-Elect Zohran Mamdani. Over 300 community members were fed during the event, with Mamdani working alongside MCN’s Executive Director and Board President to prepare and distribute meals in the spirit of service and solidarity.

HR Workshop & Mental Health Awareness
MCN organized a healthy relationship workshop in collaboration with Sauti Yetu who facilitated a mental health awareness session to complement the difficult discussion on domestic violence and different types of abuses that occur in intimate partner relationships.
