Nafisa Alhafiz is the Finance, Operations, and Human Resources Manager at Muslim Community Network (MCN), where she leads strategic planning, organizational efficiency, and personnel development with clarity and care. She joined MCN in July 2022, bringing with her a deep commitment to community empowerment and a rich tapestry of professional experience.

Her passion for social impact was sparked during her time as a Program Coordinator at Chhaya Community Development Corporation, a New York City nonprofit advocating for housing justice and immigrant rights within the South Asian community. This experience laid the foundation for her ongoing dedication to equity, inclusion, and civic engagement.

Raised in Dubai, Nafisa spent 25 years navigating diverse corporate landscapes, holding roles at Citigroup, American Home Assurance Company, Intuit, and Berdon LLP. Her career reflects a steady ascent through complex operational and financial environments, always with an eye toward meaningful leadership.

As a domestic violence survivor, Nafisa brings both personal insight and extensive volunteer experience to her advocacy within the public benefits system, career coaching, resume building, mock interviews and tax prep - filing.

Nafisa holds dual associate degrees in Business and Marketing from the University of Cambridge and City College of London, a Bachelor’s in Finance and Accounting, and a Master’s in Human Resources. She is passionate about translating complex systems into accessible solutions, mentoring with purpose, and fostering sustainable growth across teams and programs.
