Bayadir Mohamed-Osman’s Biography

Bayadir Mohamed-Osman (she/her) is a Sudanese American community activist and poet. She completed her Master's in Public Health at Johns Hopkins University and specializes in social justice and health disparities. 

She has worked on Sudanese mutual aid, diaspora initiatives, and developmental work. Bayadir has also consulted with RTI International and global agencies to advocate for human rights. Her poetry and messages have been in Al Jazeera English, PBS, The Washington Post, AJ+, NowThis, and WAMU. She has traveled to over a dozen cities to perform her poetry and continues to advocate for marginalized groups in the USA.
